Privacy Policy
Last updated
Effective Date: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Furnish ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit furnish.live or interact with our pre-launch waitlist. Furnish is operated by Further Fetched LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Our contact email is hello@furnish.live.
The Furnish iOS app is not yet released. Today, the only data the website collects from you is the email address you submit to join the waitlist, plus anonymous, cookieless usage measurements described below. Sections about photo uploads and account data apply only to the future iOS app and are included so you know what to expect.
What we collect
Waitlist email addresses. When you submit your email to join the waitlist, we store that email address in our database (hosted by Supabase). We do not collect your name, location, IP address, or any other personal information at signup.
Anonymous site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate site usage (page views, outbound clicks, Core Web Vitals like LCP, INP, and CLS). Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users across sessions; visitor IP addresses are not stored. No personal data is attached to these measurements.
Product analytics (PostHog). We use PostHog to measure high-level product funnels (e.g., visitor → waitlist signup → launch). PostHog is configured to create person profiles only for users we identify (today, that means only your waitlist email if you signed up), not for anonymous visitors. We do not record sessions, do not capture keystrokes or form input, and do not collect IP-based geolocation. PostHog processes data in the United States.
Crash and error reporting (Sentry). We use Sentry to capture unhandled errors and performance issues in the website. Sentry receives stack traces, browser/runtime info, and breadcrumb logs of the few seconds before an error. We do not send your name, email, or other identifying information to Sentry. Session Replay is disabled.
Future iOS app data (not yet collected). When the Furnish iOS app launches, it will collect the photos you upload, the designs the AI generates, and account information you provide (email, sign-in provider, style preferences). Photos uploaded for redesign will be auto-deleted from our servers 7 days after the redesign completes. We will update this Privacy Policy with the full details before the app is released.
How we use it
- To notify you by email when Furnish launches on iOS
- To respond to questions or requests you send to hello@furnish.live
- To understand aggregate site usage so we can improve the experience (which pages load slowly, which content interests visitors, etc.)
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your email for marketing automation, drip campaigns, or any purpose other than the launch announcement. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Furnish uses a small set of vendors to operate the site. Each one processes data under its own published privacy policy:
- Vercel (vercel.com) hosts the website and provides the Vercel Analytics described above. Vercel processes server logs and anonymous performance metrics on our behalf.
- Supabase (supabase.com) is our database. Your waitlist email is stored there until you request deletion or until 30 days after the app launches (see Retention below).
- Resend (resend.com) delivers transactional email (the waitlist confirmation, the pre-launch reminder, and the launch notification). Resend receives your email address and the contents of the message we send you.
- PostHog (posthog.com) processes the product analytics described above. PostHog is hosted in the United States.
- Sentry (sentry.io) processes the crash and error reports described above. Sentry is hosted in the United States.
- Skimlinks (skimlinks.com) is the affiliate network we use on
blog content. It is loaded only on
/blog/*pages and only after you accept the Advertising cookie category in our consent banner. When you click a retailer link in a blog post, Skimlinks may set a cookie in your browser to attribute the resulting purchase back to Furnish. The cookie is owned by Skimlinks, not us; it is used solely for affiliate attribution and does not collect personal information about you. You can opt out via Skimlinks' consumer opt-out at skimlinks.com or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser. - Google Workspace receives email you send to hello@furnish.live. We use it for email forwarding and inbox management; we do not use any marketing automation tooling.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We do not set cookies on furnish.live. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. The only third-party cookies that may be set are Skimlinks cookies, and only when you click an affiliate link inside a blog post. Outside of blog pages, no cookies are set by us or by any third party we load.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other ad-tech or cross-site tracking pixel.
Consent and choice
On blog post pages we ask for your consent before activating
Skimlinks (the affiliate link wrapper described above). You can
accept, reject, or pick categories from the cookie banner that
appears on those pages. Your choice is stored in a small
first-party cookie called cc_cookie for 12 months. You can
change your mind at any time by re-opening the preferences panel
from the cookie banner.
Strictly-necessary cookies are always on (they keep the site working). Advertising / Skimlinks cookies are off until you accept. If you reject, you can still read every blog post normally; no functionality is gated behind consent.
Data retention
We retain your waitlist email address until the earliest of:
- The date you ask us to delete it
- 30 days after the Furnish iOS app launches (after which we delete waitlist records that did not convert into accounts)
Anonymous analytics data is retained according to Vercel's standard retention windows; no personal identifiers are ever attached.
Your rights
You have rights over the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any right below, email hello@furnish.live with your request. We respond within 30 days at no charge.
Rights for everyone:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and the categories of data we collect.
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request that we erase your data ("right to be forgotten"). For waitlist subscribers, this typically means deleting your email from our Supabase database.
- Restriction: request that we restrict processing of your data while a complaint or correction is pending.
- Complaint: lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Additional rights for residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR):
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (we provide JSON on request).
- Object: object to any processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you previously gave (for example, your Advertising cookie consent on blog pages).
Additional rights for residents of California (CCPA / CPRA):
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it (all described above in this Policy).
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, but we honor "Do Not Sell or Share" requests on principle. To submit one, email hello@furnish.live with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share."
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to limit.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised any privacy right.
Additional rights for residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Utah UCPA, Texas TDPSA, and others): we recognize and honor the analogous rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out as those laws define them. Submit your request through the same email channel.
Children's privacy
Furnish is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the website, email hello@furnish.live and we will delete it. This policy is intended to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
International users
Furnish is operated from the United States. By using furnish.live, you understand that your data is stored and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your country of residence. If you do not consent to U.S. data handling, please do not use the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves (notably when the iOS app launches). When we do, we will post the updated version at this URL and revise the "Effective Date" at the top. Material changes will be communicated via email to any waitlist subscriber whose email we have on file.
Contact
Email hello@furnish.live with any questions about how Furnish handles your data, to exercise any of the rights above, or to request deletion of your waitlist email. We are based in Garden City, Michigan, United States.
